At Long Shot, our instructional programs cater to from absolute beginners to experienced operators and everyone in between. Given the Covid-19 situation we are living, we must now ask you to schedule your visits with our training counselors.
If you are a first-time shooter, you do not need to speak with a training counselor, as part of your Range Reservation you will be given a 30 minute safety briefing on proper firearms handling and safe range practices.
However, if you are a firearm owner, or plan to be one, and have decided to begin your path to responsible firearm ownership one of our representatives will be happy to speak with you.
Instructional Class Reservations
To take any instructional class offered at Long Shot, you may book at any time up to the booking deadline as outlined in the description web page for each class.
Some classes have a student minimum and as such are subject to reschedule if a class roster is not filled.
All class fees must be paid in full before Long Shot confirms your seat.
Walk-Ins may be accepted if a scheduled class has not exceeded the maximum roster size.
If you cannot attend your confirmed class, you must provide notice, solely via email, not later than 48 hours prior to the scheduled start time. You may only reschedule once.
You must then reschedule your class to any of the next 4 available classes, if slots are available. If no slots are available in the next 4 classes, Long Shot will offer you the first open slot in two of its upcoming classes. You must choose one of these slots or forfeit your fees.
If Long Shot cancels your class, you will be offered a full refund. Alternatively, if you wish to reschedule your class, it will be treated as a new transaction, and your ability to reschedule one time will be reset.
If you are a no-show to any scheduled class, all fees will be forfeited.
Arriving Late For A Scheduled Class
If you are late for your appointment, you will be rescheduled to a new time slot and a $50 convenience fee will be assessed per the terms and conditions of your rental package, if applicable.
Expulsion Policy
If an instructional class customer is expelled from Long Shot Pistol and Rifle for any reason, all classes and reservations made will be immediately cancelled and forfeit, for him/her and anyone else in his party. This includes all reservations for classes on the day of the expulsion or at any future date. There will be no refunds of any kind.
