Taking our Covid-19 response to new levels, Long Shot Academy now offers its Beginner Pistol Class in two formats.
The new HYBRID FORMAT enables enrolled students to take the first half of the class from the safety of home via a Zoom environment. Students will then take the second half the following day in the indoor ranges at Long Shot.
The STANDARD FORMAT class will offer both parts on the same date like usual.
$150.00 per individual student, regardless of format
$ 75.00 equipment bundle if needed (pistol, 50 rounds of ammo, eye and ear protection, targets)
3 hours (90 minutes in classroom, 15 multiple choice exam, 75 minutes shooting in range)
Hybrid Format: You will receive registration forms via email prior to class. Must log into Zoom session 30 minutes prior to instruction to confirm paperwork and Zoom functionality.
On the day of shooting, must arrive 30 minutes before class for processing and selection of firearms, when renting ours.
Standard Format: Must arrive 30 minutes prior to instruction for processing and selection of firearms, when renting ours.
Hybrid: Zoom session: Minimum 3, maximum 21
Range session: Minimum 3, maximum 7
Standard: Minimum 3 Maximum 7
(Classes will only run if minimum amount of students is met.)
No previous classes needed to register for either format.
Please note that each student must take a quiz and answer a minimum of 15 out of 20 multiple choice questions, prior to being allowed on the shooting ranges.
Any student not answering at least 15 questions correctly, will receive immediate help from instructors to review material together and then take the quiz again.

This course is intended for BEGINNERS with little or no experience, who wish to learn how to properly operate a pistol, to safely act in a gun range and the concepts and application of marksmanship. The successful candidate will receive a Beginner Pistol Class Completion Certificate.
